Congratulations to Dr Mabila Mthebula who has been invited to the Advisory Body as a Hon'ble Advisory Committee Member of the council in India.

Dr Mabila Mathebula holds a PhD in Construction Management. Mabila sampled the following professions in his career life:  He was a teacher at Pace Community College in Soweto, News Producer at South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), Internal Communication Manager and Operational Safety Manager at Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) in Johannesburg.  In 2002 he went portfolio as a SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) consultant, exchanging security for freedom. He worked as a Senior Researcher at the Railway Safety Regulator (RSR). He now works at the RSR in South Africa as a Manager responsible for safety education and awareness.

Mabila has spoken at numerous international railway safety and construction conferences on four continents, and is a regular contributor to various professional journals, newspapers and magazines and has been instrumental towards the establishment of the RSR in South Africa. He has written prolifically on railway safety and construction management. Mabila used to write for www.sheqafrica.com  where he wrote on safety, health, and environmental issues.   He is also a co - author of a Life Orientation Grade 11 textbook and an author of “Family Sundays at home: A year of Bible lessons for African families.” His preferred quote is: “We are unequal in what we know, but equal in our infinite ignorance.”
